When you are walking down the street and watching the cars drive by, chances are good that you’re considering their appearance. A vehicle might approach that grabs your attention, making you wish that it belonged to you, or at least putting it on your shortlist for the next car you want to drive. Chevrolet has a longstanding history of creating eye-catching and engaging vehicles that not only run well but look great in the process. As we continue to roll ahead toward the future, it’s time to consider what the Chevy models will look like. Which Chevy cars will have a new look for 2019? As of right now, the Spark, Cruze, and Malibu are all slated to get fresh design updates.

What’s in the design language?

“We are committed to offering consumers a full lineup of products with fresh designs, new technologies and efficient powertrain options. The investments we have made in Spark, Cruze and Malibu will help position the brand for success in competitive segments that still make up a significant part of the total industry.” – Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet.

The upcoming Spark, Cruze, and Malibu will each feature a new façade that pays homage to the brand’s heritage while maintaining a clear and cohesive look with a premium, athletic edge. Each of these models will include integrated signature headlamps and Chevrolet’s signature dual-element taillamps while also featuring an even greater attention to detail in the intricacies of the cleverly sculpted grilles.

These updates in design will fall in line with added trim options, including the first-ever RS trim for the Malibu, which shows off blacked-out styling. The Cruze will offer new interior color options in addition to its front restyling and a new LS Hatch trim for the spirited car. The Spark, which is the automaker’s segment sales-leading mini-car will have a redesign similar to that of the Malibu and Cruze while also offering new exterior colors and updated trim on the inside.
