The Chevrolet Silverado, one of the most popular pickup trucks in the US, is going electric. The all-new Silverado EV facilitates power, efficiency, and environmental sustainability without compromise.

The first two models available for the Silverado EV will be the high-end RST First Edition and the base level WT or Work Truck. 

The Chevy Silverado EV Work Truck will be launched first and geared towards organizations with sustainable transportation needs. 

The WT will be a base model with an estimated MSRP of $39,900+DFC*.

The RST will retail at around $100,000 and includes the bells and whistles of a high-end trim level.

There are plans to release a variety of future trims as well as a WT with a smaller battery and a shorter range in the near future.

When is the Silverado EV release date? 

The Work Truck will be the first off assembly in fall of 2023. 

The Chevrolet Silverado EV RST will release by fall of 2023.

What is the Chevy Silverado EV Range?

The Chevy Silverado EV can travel up to 400 miles on a full charge. It utilizes the all-new Ultium battery platform also showcased in the Hummer EV. The 400 Mile range applies to both the WT and RST models of the Silverado Ev available at launch.

 What is available for Chevrolet Silverado EV Charging Options

Level 1: Charge provides 120 Volts and uses a standard household outlet. This option works well for people who charge overnight and have a relatively short commute.

Level 2: Dual-level Charging provides 240 Volts and uses an appliance outlet (the same as a household dryer). These are easy to have installed in your home garage. 

DC Fast Charging up to 350kW enable the EV to get GM-estimated 100 miles of range in only 10 minutes.

Utilizing the Multi-Flex Midgate and the Multi-Flex tailgate and load stop, you can fit items over 10 Ft. The Silverado EV also includes a Front Trunk for even more storage.

The Silverado EV will feature dual electric motors to provide 660-hp and the ability to tow up to 10,000 pounds. It has also been stated that a future model will allow for up to 20,000 pounds towing.
