While the market may be dominated by crossover SUVs, that does not mean that full-size SUVs have fallen by the wayside. These vehicles remain stellar options for families because of how many passengers can fit inside and how much cargo can be carried, making summer vacations and road trips a cinch. One such SUV is the Chevy Tahoe, which sits near the top of the stellar Chevrolet SUV and crossover lineup. If you are thinking of purchasing this vehicle as your next family automobile, you may be asking, “What seating options are available in the 2019 Chevy Tahoe?” Let’s have a look.

The 2019 Chevy Tahoe is available in three trims: LS, LT, and Premier. The LS and LT models come standard with seating for 8 people, but the LS model offers an available front bench seat that will fit three passengers total, bumping the overall possible people who can sit inside the LS model to nine. The Premier model comes standard with seating for seven people, as the second row offers two individual “captain’s chairs” as opposed to the bench seating. This is also an available option in the LT model.

This means you have a few different choices depending on what your family needs. The second-row captain’s chairs, while reducing second-row seating capacity to two people, make for easier access to the third row between them. Isn’t it great to have options? Chevrolet offers just that with the Tahoe.

Heating and Ventilated Options

The LT model comes standard with leather heated front seats, while the Premier model’s front seats are heated and ventilated. Heated second-row seats are available in the LT model and are a standard feature of the Premier model. Having heated and/or ventilated seats certainly adds to the comfort on those days when the weather is on the more extreme side temperature-wise.

If you are on the lookout for a full-size SUV for your family, we encourage you to take a closer look at the Chevy Tahoe. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about this vehicle or to set up a test drive.
